When I was in high school, I wasn’t sure what path to take, but I eventually embraced the creative route and began my Higher Certificate in Creative Development at Vega School. That experience solidified my love for design, and when it came time to specialize, I faced a tough choice between digital design, graphic design, game design, interior design, and copywriting. I chose digital design—the deciding factor was its focus on digital tools over the more physical aspects of graphic design.
The first year was exhilarating; I immersed myself in Adobe software, using it to bring assignments to life. By the second year, I hit some challenges early on, but soon found my stride, mastering skills like web design and 3D rendering in Blender. Along the way, I discovered a passion for UI/UX design (especially through Figma) and fell in love with video editing, blending motion and storytelling into my projects.
Now, as a graphic design graduate working at Hirt & Carter since early 2025, I reflect on how far I’ve come. This website showcases my journey—from my Higher Certificate work to my three years as a digital designer, including the 3D projects, photography, and video edits I enjoyed most. Every step—from campus experiments to professional projects—has shaped my multidisciplinary approach to design today.
